June 13 Kickoff
Last year brought hundreds of people out for the opening celebration and hundreds more spent parts of the summer exploring the art by foot and
This year we are kicking off with a celebration on June 13 starting at 4:30 pm. We'll have face painting, food, free JP Licks ice cream, music, and art! Come to Pettee Square for the festivities. Plenty of parking is available nearby.
Innovation doesn’t come just from a lab or a computer screen or an engineering bench, it emerges when people blend the arts and sciences to create something entirely new.
With that in mind, the N-Squared Innovation District is working with the Newton Upper Falls community and the artists' collective Studios Without Walls to develop Reverberations.
The project features 15 sculptures along a portion of the mile-long greenway. The free exhibition opens June 13 at Pettee Square in Newton Upper Falls and will remain on view through early September.
