- Needham Crossing: Today Needham Crossing is under construction, turning itself from a series of low-slung buildings to a vibrant, mixed-use location with housing, retail, and offices coming together to create a new community. Located on the Charles River it offers biking, walking, fishing, and boating. It’s also where TripAdvisor, SharkNinja and BigBelly Solar develop their innovative market-leading solutions.
- Wells Avenue: What started life as a mix of light industrial and office buildings is today undergoing a transformation. Home to such national companies as CyberArk, Karyopharm and the Russian School of Math, Wells Avenue not only offers a great place to build a business but also access to the biking, running and walking trails of the Charles River and Cutler Park.
- Needham Street/Highland Avenue: Acting as the Main Street of the N2 Innovation District, Needham Street offers a mix of retail offices and, soon, housing. From the historic Saco-Pettee mill building through the newly developed Newton Nexus, which will be home to Boston Ballet’s new school, Needham Street is the place to be. In 2018 the state will begin construction that promises to transform this two-lane road into a walkable and bikeable center of activity.
- Wexford Street: Home to You Do It Electronics, the local source for electronics equipment, the Wexford Street neighborhood is a mix of small businesses, from tech startups to home improvement centers to body shops.
